My steering wheel is shaking like crazy

for some reason i'm not sure why but my steering wheel is shaking like crazy on the free way. here is pic of my right side tire if you guy see anything let me know. any ideas would be helpful.

Looks like you need an alignment and possibly a balance among other stuff.

Does it vibrate or shake-thats warped rotors, specially when you hit the brakes. If it vibrates at highway speed you need to balance them things.

Nope - don't see anything that would cause a vibration.

I think you should take it in for a rotate/balance in its current state

How bout just give it a bath! Mud can do some funny things when its caked in your wheels.

hahaha

had the same issues with my 93, freeked me out till i found a ton of mud dried on the inside of the wheel.

^ +1 for washing the truck before you do anything further. and yea crawl your happy A$$ under ther and use the hose and a scrubber to clean the wheel off while your at it.

ive had it happen to me, and that wasnt when it was dirty. something u should deff try before u spend any money, clean it, then take ur wheels off, and retighten them. make sure u tighten every other one. but most important make sure they are tight. i switched wheels one time and it shook, got to school and checked the lugs, could turn 4 out of 5 with my hand about 5 rotations. lol. not a good thing. tighten everything.

make sure to wash all the mud out of your rims. i came out of the mud once and i couldn't even hold onto the steering wheel it was shaking so much. wash any mud out and everything should be fine.
