Got a 81 2wd converted to 4wd(project super cheap), used the clutch from the 2wd on the 4wd tranny/2wd motor as it was almost new, all went together fine but I really didn't finely inspect the clutches for differences, they looked enough alike, different springs? Just thought I would ask before we yank it back apart, thanks a bunch.
edit: forgot to add the problem it won't grab

im not positive but i would assume with the added strain of 4wheel drive, the pressure plate wouldnt be strong enuff to handle it
