I have had a small but steady coolant leak for a couple of months now. I went offroading today and it got way worse. The coolant appears to be coming out just above where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine block. It doesn't leak when the truck is running, but as soon as I shut it off, it pours out. Is it my water pump?

 

Sounds like it is , thats where the weep hole is located

 

tell me more about this weep hole. i'm assuming this isn't normal? am i looking at replacing the water pump?

 

yup and you should think about doing the timing belt etc while you are in there. plenty of threads on that subject, search away young luke.
