1989 4runner & 85 axle

#1 item for sale: 1989 Toyota 4runner
166,XXX miles on it
body is in excellent shape, virtually no rust
tranny, tcase and all other drivetrain work great
it is white exterior, red interior
I've known this 4runner for years. It belonged to the Fire Chief of a neighboring community. He drove it every day. Unfortunately he let the timing chain go on it.
The bad: the motor is out of it right now. I have almost everything you need to rebuild it. The only thing left to purchase is a set of rocker arms from Toyota and the rocker arm rails. Shouldn't be more than $275 for it all. I purchased over $700 worth of stuff from Enginebuilder.com. Including a BRAND NEW COMPLETE HEAD with cam, timing chain cover, timing chain kit w/ metal guides, oil pump, water pump, piston rings, freeze plugs, complete gasket set, etc. The engine cylinders are all still round and have no scoring. Just hone the cylinders out and slap the new rings on the pistons. I did run "plastic-gauge" on all crank bearings, everything on the bottom end is in spec. I have everything marked and bagged to make for a simple assembly.
Oh yeah, might wanna put a new clutch on it while the engine is out.
For just around $275 (rockers) and $150 (clutch kit) you can have a nice clean 4runner with a brand new motor.
I need $1500 out of it, if I rebuilt the motor and installed everything I'd be asking around $3500 or better for it.
Can supply pics on request.
#2 item for sale: complete 1985 Toyota truck front axle. I just tore everything down to the bare housing. Just ground off all the unecessary brackets (torque rod, steering stab.). I bagged and labeled everything on this also. Just buy a Trail-Gear rebuild kit ($145 w/bearings) and slap it under your Toyota. I need $200 cash out of it.
Please let me know if you're interested in any or all of this stuff.

Very interested. Ironically, I live just a few miles away. Wasn't looking to do motor work, but for the right price I could be swayed. What motor does it have? 4 Cyl or V6?
Pics would be highly appreciated. kjharmon@gmail.com
I work in Bentonville everyday, wouldn't be difficult to stop by and see it either.
