shouldn't be much to it.. simply unbolt the intake from the head and replace. thats how it was on my sister's 4cyl anyways

Yo,
Two piece intake. First piece relatively easy. Second, pack a lunch BUT you may be able to leave the fuel injection intact and do the gasket at the head. CAUTION..there is a long hex head bolt near the thermostat that can be a MF to get out. Suggest lots of PB Blaster penetrating oil for several days until you attempt. Be patient and continue to soak. You will need metric hex wrench to remove.

Not too hard to do. It is easier if you have a new gasket to look at so you know where the bolts and nuts are. This is where the hex bolt is.

your egr valve shares the gasket, but you can just cut the gasket and leave the egr on the head.
I would get throttle body cleaner, not carb cleaner. Your intake is going to be full of carbon and throttle body cleaner will make it turn to a liquid that you can scrub out with a brass wire brush. It might be worth removeing your egr to clean it at the same time.
