The truck was sitting out in the heavy NJ rains and it wouldn't turn over. I had to crank the key for about 30 sec or more a couple of times before it finally started. After that it would get bogged down if I was heavy on the throttle.
The bogging down has happened once before but it settles down after the engine is warm.
What should I check about her not turning over? bogging down?

water in the distributor? water in the air filter?

 

My engine get wet once in a while .I keep wire dri or wd-40 in cab. If it does not start right off the bat I soak wires ,coil and distributor with wd and it usually starts. If it get worst change wires and distributor cap.
