Does Seafoam restore old gas?

I have a ski boat i'm taking out this weekend, but apparently it hasn't been run in 1 1/2yrs. It has a 50gal tank and is pretty full, so I really don't want to drain it. Can I get normal performance if I drop a couple cans of Seafoam in there?

Gasoline most definately has a usable shelf life, and while your engine in that boat MAY run on that gas, if you care about it at all and want to save tons of money down the line start off with fresh fuel... (I'm a marine tech, take my word for it)
