the runner gots some new shoes

well since i got my truck running a couple weeks ago, ive been driving around on 34"x10.5" swamper LTB's. Not road friendly tires, driving down the freeway my truck always wanted to change lanes and the ride was rough at best.

so i looked on craigslist and found some new tires. theyre 35"x12.5" goodyear wrangler MTR's with aluminum wheels. they were for a project truck that the guy never finished. they were never used just sat in a garage. they still have the little rubber nubs on them. i paid $800.00, sweet deal and the ride is so much better. plus i think it looks better. im not sure if i want to sell or keep the other tires tho.

I agree... the blac rims gave it a stealthy look. either way.. the news ones set the truck off pretty good too.

painting the under carriage? clean it maybe but painting is over kill, i live in the NW the paint is still nice under the dirt, no rust here. i was kinda tired of the blacked out look and i always liked those particular wheels so it was kinda a match made in heaven for me.
