Toyota Frame Swap

Toyota Frame Swap
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and to crawling in general so please bear with me. I'm not intentionally trying to step on any toes.
I own a '87 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 manual with the 22re. The body and interior are shot but the frame and running gear are solid. I also own a '91 Toyota shortbox 4x2 manual pickup with a blown 22re but the body is near mint.
What I want to do is mount the pickup's cab and box onto the 4Runner's frame. What I need to know is... are the 1st gen Runner and 2nd gen mini frames interchangeable or would I have to change the location of the body mounts?
Thanks in advance and happy crawling.
Niko

Same size 102", not 100% sure on mount locations. I've thought about using a 4Runner frame (I know where to get one cheap) to make a short bed pickup. I would need to find a short bed, as mine is a long.
