CBI Hitch Tire Carrier (BNIB)

I purchased a CBI Tire carrier about a month ago, it turned out being out 4 inches too tall. I sent it back to them and they sent me the correct sized one BUT i have decided that I dont want it anymore. I need the cash more. I am asking $220 shipped.

Keep in mind, this is still the exact way I received it from DHL, including everything that would be included had you ordered directly from Steve. It will still need to be painted.

I forgot about this thread. . . I will take some pictures when I get home today. I havent taken the new one out of the shrinkwrap and I dont really want to, it will make it harder to ship.

Would be interested but need to be able to carry a 37" tire. Sounds like I should get the one you had in the first place. Will yours work with a 37" tire? Strong enough to hold it?

Dont think so, this one is the medium duty one. It holds up to a 35" tire.

Here is a pic of it sitting inmy garage. . .

Hey man, let me know the details. I'm in Athens and could pick it up if I can use it. Why is it shorter? I might need it that way. I have a high clearance bumper on my Taco. Thanks, Wes

It isnt really the shorter version, it is just the right height for a 4Runner. Some how the first one he sent was 4" too long. I wouldnt mind driving to meet you.

Well, could you measure from the bottom of where the hitch plugs to where the tire mounts and let me know the length? Also measure from where the pin hole is to where it makes the turn to go up to the tire. Thanks, Wes

25 inches or so from the hitch to where the tire mounts.

Not too sure about the turn up, the way he packaged it it is hard to tell. I know that on my factory hitch I have about 2 inches from the pin hole to the end of the hitch so I would assume a little more than that to make the turn up.

Also, I would give it to you for $200 since I wont have to worry about shipping charges.

Man I would love to have it but the tire would be too high. It would cover my whole back window almost. Thanks for measuring and good luck with the sale.
