please help w/ door question

Okay here's my situation, there is a guy where i live that's selling a pair of doors off an 85 4runner which happen to be the power window ones. I have an 85 pickup with manual windows. Can anyone please help me out and tell me if these will function on my truck? thanks.

There really isn't a step by step to retrofit your truck for these windows. You will have to get a complete door, and then figure out a way to wire in the switchs and motors.

They are not plug and play.

depends on how much work you want to do. If you want something quick, then just get manual cranks. If you really want the hassle of electric windows, get them. The electric windows of that era was toyotas first attempt for electric windows in the 4Runners and trucks, and the design wasn't the greatest.

I would make half doors out of them, then you don't have to worry about the window or lock wiring.
