need a set of lug nuts
Does anyone have a set of old lug nuts they dont need because I need a full set. I will pay for shipping a nd a couple bucks for them. Please don't ask its a brain fart story I don't want to admit to.

We live for brain fart stories on here....
More info on what type of lugnuts b/c they are not always interchangeable. Sorry I don't have an extra set - but I thought I would clarify. Also check your local junkyard?

OK I guess one to many St.Paulie Girls and just got done with stripping my replacement tailgate for repainting and was gonna do the Manuel locking hubs since I was changing wheels so I pulled off the old wheels and put the lug nuts in a small box to keep track of them.
Inter the new shop boy
After we shot the primer we put my Buddy's 71 split bumper Camaro on the 4 post lift and started tearing it down for a body off rebuild and tubing job.
About 2 hours later it was time to go put down the first coat of paint in the booth so I told the new shop boy go ahead and clean up around the lift. Well being the good kid it is he picked up everything and but it in the garbage.
There were a bunch of old parts boxes with old parts from the 454 we tore out of the 71 and I was in the paint booth trying to finish the tailgate when the shop boy knocked on the window and showed us a bunch of old parts boxes.
Now remember in the begging I said I put the lugs in a little box while I played with the idea of painting the Manuel hubs? Yep you guessed it told him go ahead a throw them all out and went back to painting not thinking about it.
Got the tailgate all painted up back to stock Toyota 8D8 color threw down a few coats of clear and went to grab the hubs so I could shot them and right at that moment it hit me.
Damb where's my box of lug nuts?? Please tell me I didn't have Skippy toss them out! Sure enough
I had Skippy (shop name for the kid he's 15 wants to learn how to work on cars) go check out the dumpster to find the lug nuts and for the first time that I can remember the garbage man came on time and the right day bye bye any hope of finding the lug nuts now.dddoooooooooouuuhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Check your local tire shop, they usually have a bucket of used lugnuts you could go through. That's how I got all mine, took me a little while and they don't all quite match, but I had no $$$ at the time, so free was good.
