They come out behind the rear fender... They will not effect the spare tire at all because they go around the spare tire.

I have seen one at the dealership and the tips turned out on each side just behind the tires. It looks pretty good.

oh so it actually does come out on each side? I figured even goin behind the driver side wheel would not be possible with the spare there. WHen i had mine looked at there was just no room to get out the other side (driver side)...

Yep, it is pretty tight up under there but they got it to work out. I also went and had a guy at an exhaust shop here look and he said he would do a dual exhaust for $300 installed. He said he would use Magna Flow mufflers, but I am not sure how that would sound.

He said he had done one other '03 so I'm guessing it was pretty simple since he is only charging $300. Does yours come straight out the back, or turn out to the side?

Lots of guys on this board have had great luck with magnaflow, but personally I love the echoey sound of a flow master on a V8. And since you guys are blessed with the option of a V-8. Let her roar! And it can be a quiet one... just every brand has a certin sound to them, and its hard to beat a flowmaster on a V8. IMHO. Though, anything you put on there will sound great. Espcially over stock! You guys are lucky your able to run duals. Us 3rd gens have to mount the spare on the roof or rear for us to be albe to do it.

Just to jump aside of the subject real quick... Is there any real plus to replacing your exaust with a Borla or Magnaflow ?

Or is it like rims, they look (sound) cool, but that is about it.
I want to replace my exaust if it adds something, but I don't want to sound like those loud ass, annoying Chevy's and Fords.

There is some gain, maybe 5-10 hp. Believe me, I am not after the look or sound of these Fords and Chevys witht the pipes sticking straight out the back. I was actually trying to find an exhaust tip for mine when I asked about the dual exhaust. I am satisfied with the power and sound of the stock, but the look of it is pretty plain. It is almost like they stuck it on at the last minute and didn't really care. I have looked at several exhaust tips, but I don't really want a big chrome tip. I wish I could find one that was a brushed stainless steel. Something nice but not so bling-bling.....know what I mean?
