It's just 4 bolts if you don't have power windows. I've thought about it, but it looks funny without tube or half doors.

Had my doors off today. I have grenade pin style kingpins in the hinges that I pull out(there are pics on how to do this in the pirate faq). I then rewired the windows and put in quick connect spades so they pull apart nice and easy and they work full time, no key required!

To pull off doors it take me about 25 seconds a door and to put back on it takes about 60 seconds per door. One of my favorite mods.

If only pulling off the top was that easy.

I know at lease here you have to have a driver side mirror, which you can just pick up a clip on mirror at walmart and just attach to the a-pillar when you're cruisin doorless.

Cops round here aint really give a heck. And not just because most of em all know me either. They'd rather catch a little race burner goin 90mph soundin like a weed-eater on steriods, than screw with another damn redneck. Heck, most cops round here ARE rednecks!

I couldnt find a pin that big and the right size so I just use a bolt as a pin. Works great.

I run with no doors whenever possible, I love it. I cut the hole in the top of both hinges until a U shape so that I can just loosen the bolt a little and drop it right in. I usually only run it with one bolt in each top hole on the hinge when I do have doors on.

In my book when I drove mine without doors it was kinda scary filling, just looking at the ground going flying by. Do you have a law where you live Intrepid about having mirriors?

Depends on the state or province. Here in Ontario, you need 1 rear facing mirror. That's how Jeeps get away with it.

Depending on the year you can cut the hinge pins and just lift the door up and off.
Pirate covers it in their FAQ.

In Az, you only need to have a rear facing mirror on the drivers side. I bought some trailer mirrors from Auto Zone and fab'd up a couple brackets

I got the quick release hinges from 4xinnovations.com and they are soo awesome! like, 2 minutes to swap the doors.

I know there is a thread out here somewhere that has a link to all state driving laws, but I can't seem to find it. Sorry!
