After headgasket no fuel!

Do I need to Prime the fuel pump? Is there anything I need to do?
If carb cleaner or some flamable is shot in to the intake and the engine turn over for a sec it tries to run. Any help would be appreciate.
I miss driving it so bad.

Carb or EFI?
If EFI - make sure you put the ground wire back on the manifold.
Other than that - check fuel pump first (4crawlers page) and then that injectors are being triggered.

What did you all take apart with the fuel system when you replaced the head gasket? Are you sure you got the injectors, fuel line to the plenum, etc put back correctly? It should fire right up.

Sorry it is EFI. Is the ground that your talking about the one that comes from the firewall to the area of the hook that bolts on the rear of the head?
We replaced 2 injectores and the fuel filter.

Are you sure you installed the filter correctly?

I was pondering that myself. I believe so. I'm going to check my grounds again.
I really hope we have just missed a ground.
thanks.

It took me several tries for mine to fire up after I had the fuel rails and injectors removed. I had a lot of air in my lines.

Just my $.02.

EFI fuse was blown. Had to "Jumpstart" or "Prime" the EFI system.
Fired right up.
for those that are curious.

Yeah all that is left is adjusting the Valves and timing.
I always like to try to complete posts. Nothing sucks worse than a dead end post, when your searching for answers.
