Royal Purple
I went in to buy some Redline today from my local speed shop and he told me the prices went up to $9.99 a quart so I decided to give the royal purple a try at $6.99 a quart.
Anyone using this oil? How is it in comparison to the Redline?

All synthetic has the same base. Meaning, it's all the same except what each co. adds to it. Royal Purple has many fans. How many more than Redline, Amsoil, Castrol Syntec, Mobile One, etc. who knows? Go ahead and get the most expensive type you can find, you'll probably get what ya pay for, I geuss.

i use the "max-gear" in the x-case, front and rearend. so far so good, i haven't put many miles on it yet.
but i did notice and check, that the rearend runs about 20 degrees cooler with the RP vs toyota OEM
