I have a short somewhere, I can't find it. I also can't find a good automotive electrician here in Sacramento. Aside from California Re-wire...but they're $100.00 an hour. I am looking for a super radical crazy kick ass deal here. This is my DD, my only vehicle...i'm hoping someone can help me out. Anyone interested in trading for Custome Screen Printed T-shirts...thats what I do. Thanks!

Alos, if anyone has an idea where to look for the short, its the EFI fuse thats blowing.

I may have one in...have to go out and see if everything is there.....just picked this up...88 4runner with no motor...seen the harness in the kick panel but never looked under the hood

 

look by your ignition switch thats where i had one

 

You had a short by the ignition switch? Where is that? Near the lock cylinder?

88 and 86 harnesses may not be an exact match.

yea my short was right behind the tumbler it was in those wires that come out the back
