Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a down pipe all the way back which includes a cat, muffler and tip from a 1988 4runner. Those anyone on here know if this will bolt on to my 1990 4runner. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

new downpipes are $200+ ... might as well go with a header.. wish I had.

Mainfold is usually shot if your replacing headpipe.. not always but those are around $100... so for $300 you could of had a nice header.

 

Thanks but I am concerned more of the fitment because I found someone selling a complete setup minus the headers for a descent price.

 

How much is it? The cat alone is worth over $100 at a recycle place. I got $140 for my old 93 cat.

 

I sold mine to someone on yotatech for $10 + shipping. I was fine with that as long as he wasn't taking it to a recycler.

find someone parting a 4runner, that header/downpipe is usually a throw away item. If you've GOT to replace it, consider putting that $$ toward a decent aftermarket header.
