Exclamation Radiator Fan stopped working.

Drove 30 miles, turned of the truck for 15 min, started again, went less than a mile and it stopped.
Loud squealing noise, and smoke, the fan is not spinning. I can spin it by hand.
What's the fix?

The problem is that broken belt. I dropped it of at the mechanic. How much damage should I expect? Should I get all the belts replaced?

The bearings in your fan pulley bracket probably seized up.

Limped to the mechanic and left it there. You can see that the belt is broken. What can I expect to pay?
Replace other belts?

I knew I shouldn't have been asking around for a new truck - this one got mad.

If it turns out to be the fan pulley bracket, and you are having a mechanic do the work. Don't be surprised if you get quoted somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000.

You may get lucky and only need belts or a fan clutch. Worse case would be (and I know this because im waiting on mine to come from EBAY as we speak) You would need a fan bracket, A.K.A. fake (false)water pump bracket. Thanks to some help from some good guys here, I didnt pay the dealer $700.00 for just the fan bracket (less than 80.00 on EBAY). If you need the fan bracket, yours being a 92 V6 I think your fan bracket has a spring instead of the 93-95 Hydraulic tensioner. Correct me if im wrong here guys. Not a difficult fix if you have a 10MM and a 12MM socket, trust me.

Quoted 115 for the 3 belts. I'm relieved.

Got the 2ND call and now the pulley was seized and needs to be replaced. Also getting the timing belt changed. 800 bucks.

NAPA has that fan mount available now. My guys didn't have a listing for the fan or clutch but the mount was around 120 dollars.
