floor mat mod

well when i ordered my husky liner floor mats , i didnt realize there was a old version and a new version , of course i got the old ones , you know the ones with out the little nubs to keep them from slipping . i read a few posts about sticky tape , velcro and the like , and someone had mentioned the carpet stop stuff the ladys buy to place under carpets to keep them from slipping ( which ruins all the fun of having hard wood floors and a dog LOL) , but i finally got tired of my liners slipping and broke down and bought the $3 worth of no slip stuff , guess what , it works like a charm . thanks for the idea.

I guess 2nd gens are lucky when it comes to the older mats.

I too have the older "nubless" mats, and they don not slide around on me one bit.

It's a very tight fit with the 2nd gens and these mats, no room for any slippage whatsoever.

Glad you were able to get yours to not slip.

im not sure if mine didnt fit as well because mine is a T-100 , and as many of you know , its the red headed step child of the aftermarket parts world , and a few companies have assumed that they are the same as other vehicles and havent done any test fitting , but i found my drivers side mat wasnt fitting against the foot rest part on the left side, the thing your foot is supposed to be on when not using the clutch, so i trimmed it a bit to fit better.

some day ill break down and probably get the newer version , but they are woking jsut fine for now .
