Talking Oil Capacity

Have you ever wondered on those 5 quart bottles of oil if you are getting 5 quarts? Well today, I definately didn't. After changing oil and filter, I'm a quart low. Normally after oil change and filter it shows 1/2 quart low. I let sit for an hour, still quart low. Anyone else ever run into this. I think we are being cheated. Thinking about buying another 5 quart jug and measuring it out and hammering the oil distributors. Or maybe giving them a scare with one of these flying over. Yes I did check the bottle, it says 5 quarts.

Sorry about the title, thought you would be looking at something else, HUH! Didn't want thread to mysteriously disappear and couldn't think of a better title.
