Squires turbo systems
I have a 90 4runner and have been looking for more power.
Has anyone heard of or installed a Squires Turbo System on a 3.slo?
They have a universal turbo kit that looks promising. And the price seems right.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The price tag on that universal kit is ludicrous, you can easily piece together your own "universal" kit for $1500 or less.
From the picture on their site, the $3000 kit includes:
Turbocharger
Wastegate
Air Filter
Silcone Couplers
Electric Oil Pump
Oil Hose
Boost Controller
Bolts
Gaskets
Flanges
Clamps
Cable Ties
Stickers
On top of that you still require another $400-900, providing you do all the fabrication and installation yourself:
Piping, silicone couplers, clamps, boost gauge, wideband o2 sensor, misc. parts/tools.
