'02 4runner lowrider lift options

I have a '02 4Runner 4WD that I would like to lift slightly (1.5-3").

I would like to know if I should upgrade my springs to an earlier 4Runner first then do the lift?

Basically what I don't want is a small lift that just get's me to earlier stock 4runner height.

Thank you.

There are many choices for you in that lift range, but here are 3 anyway:

1) OME all around https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/trekmasters-their-way-springs-too-103300/
2) SS lift System 7 (Tundra/OME) http://www.sonoransteel.com/store_co..._liftkits.html
3) Toytec http://www.toyteclifts.com/96024runn...runnerliftkits

All of which are good but the first 2, while more expensive, would be my preference.

My did Tundra TRDs up front and OME 890s out back. The front went up about 2.25" and the rear went up 3" from the original sagging springs. I'm sure it has settled some but I haven't measured lately. The ride is great and the carrying cappasity is good. With 600# in back the rear drops about 1".
