short notice: socal inland empire Dec 28 offroading

so im going out thursday, was looking for input on what trail we should ride.

who is coming? you college folk should be off.

heres my possiblities.

Santiago Peak
Cleghorn
Rincon-Shortcut road

and open to suggestions.

so whos up for it? or who has other ideas for trails?

would it be better if i made it friday?

tuesday i will call all the respective ranger stations and see what trail conditions are, interms of snow and the like

Sean, I could do Santiago Peak...

On Thurs. It's near my place, and I'm on vacation that week.

After making the peak we could go south on the divide road to Blue Jay Campground. Great views, you can see Dana Point and Catalina on a clear day.

From there you can go further south (across Ortega Hiway) on pavement till you hit the ORV park. It might be fun to play around there.

All these trails are pretty easy, no armor or lockers needed.

OR - you can drive down Harding truck trail from Santiago Peak, and go back into OC.

im up for it as long as we start early in the AM. I have work at 3pm...pretty local to me as well.
