TJM T-17 and Warn winch - What do I need?

Hey all!

I sifted through quite a few threads but couldn't get all my questions answered. I discovered the winch of choice for the TJM T-17 bumper channel is the Warn M8000. However, I don't see if anything else is needed to mount the winch to the bumper. Does there need to be any additional bracketry installed? Any pertinant info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

As long as both the bumper and winch kits are complete you should be good to go. The only thing you might need would be any additional hardware to mount the solenoid where you want it.

Hey Lance!
I forgot you moved to Colorado!

Cool! Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that I needed to purchase additional parts for just the bumper.

Yep...finally moved last December.

There are no additional parts needed to mount the winch to the bumper. That is pretty straight-forward.

As for mounting the bumper to your truck I am not sure. On my '01 it was no issue but I remember that some (like Schaefer) had to cut off the ends of the frame rails to mount it.
