Exclamation Slap then oil leak!!!

The other morining (first really cold morining yet, 35) went to start my car and i heard a slap a soon as i hit the starter so i let off ... Then she started up fine I've notice a coat of oil on the pan for a while but no visual drips...
But the day after this happened i've started to see a couble drops on the ground .. (after sitting 6 or so hours) the leak seems to be coming from the oil pan gasket... but as we all know they like to travel... I cleaned the bottom of the engine yesterday and i'm going to add leak detector today(uv)...

The engine runs great no loss in power or mpg (noticable anyway)....

I just remembered i'm having trouble w/my new starter (have to bumb it somtimes) which is why I changed my old one, i'm replacing the relay before i defect my new starer out... that starter could have made the noise, hmmmm

I started leaking badly on the last cold snap. 258,000 miles on the 3.0.

The passenger side (including starter) is soaked in oil. The bottom of the A/C compressor had the freshest oil. In my case, the source is the passenger side front cam seal.

My pan was mostly dry (except for the passenger rail)

Common leak areas are valve cover gaskets, front crank seal, oil cooler itself, ie o-rings, rear crank seal and P/S pump seal.
