The Fuel Show review, FJ Cruiser

I do not agree with a few things they say, such as the braking.
They say the FJ is a heavy rig, yes it is, but the brakes are more than ample.

Never in my life have I driven a rig with 4 discs at the corners.
If I am not careful when applying them, I can almost end up out of the windshield.
Take it from someone who has been driving this now since July.
The brakes are way more than adaquet.

I agree Cory, had my FJ for a month now and still getting used to the awesome braking on this rig. Iv'e almost gone out the wind shield myself. More than enough brake on the FJ imo....

I keep chirping the rear tires on mine... happens not only from a stand-still but also happens when getting on the gas after a stoplight/freeway on ramp etc...

maybe i was just used to my underpowered 3rd gen 4Runner or something.

Nate, I get thrown bacak agaisnt the seat to quite often.
It is a change coming from the 3.0

Those reviewer guy's, I bet they did not even sit in the back.
It is easy to get in and out, and you have good access to a child seat from what I have read.

JJ, glad to hear you think the brakes are more than enough up to the task too.
I hate seeing misinformation out there on vehicles.
It is clear these guy's are not the sharpest to be rating vehicles.

Coming from the 3.slow... the braking on this rig is excelent. My Durango had a little weaker brakes and I thought those were great! Thh acceleration is fun to play with and really does get on it. All in all, for a sport utility, this thing handles great on road. Especially that they aren't only an on road vehicle. As for the car seat, easy as hell to get a car seat in and out. I haven't watched the vid yet, but reading others comments, these are the comments I have.

BTW - my avatar is complete with car seat in the back with my kid having a blast!!!!

one comment id like to make about a child seat in the back, be sure to keep the kids hands and feet clear of the doors when closing them. i had an experience recently where the kid almost got his fingers in the door when i was getting ready to close it. the seat sits pretty close to the doors if using the left or right side, it might have been a better idea on my part to put him in the middle. other then that , and his mom bumping his head on the door on the way out , worked fine .
