Can stock suspension items from an FJ Cruiser be installed on a 3d Gen 4R?

I have a Fj and a 3d gen 4R... I was wondering, in the event I decided to upgrade the Fj, if I can swap the suspension over to the 4R..??

I have all TRD shocks on the Fj.

Thoughts?

The overall length of the shocks are longer but you're not going to gain more travel as the shock body itself is the same size. The difference is an extension added at the base of the shock. I recall reading a thread in ttora's site that had a taco running 4th gen shocks (same concept as what you're thinking) and lifted it quite a bit. With diff drops I think you'll be fine but I'd err on caution and check them cv's before committing.
