89 4runner passenger seat release cable

anyone know where i can get a part number for this? can't seem to find it in my microfiche. even better, anyone parting out a first gen 4runner that would like to sell theirs?

ouch... it is a little pricey, but i need to be able to get my three year old in and out of the back seat, and it's still got to be a lot cheaper the the dealer...

Dang thats pricey.. I got mine from ebay shipped for about half that $41 bucks. I cant wait to install it as the weedwacker string just isnt cutting it any more (no pun intended).

I got one out of the parts truck we got that I am going to install in mine after I do this I will take my old one and see if I can come up with a fix for it I am handy with this kind of stuff if I come up with a good fix I will post it up.
and this way know one will have to destroy theirs.
or pay a crap load for a wire

thanks for the part number, shiftless. looks like about $37 from the dealer.

CyMon - good idea. i think i am going to fab up a small lever to attach to the anchor point for the cable under the seat as a temporary fix, i'll try to post up some pics as well...
