Sub Connection to Basslink (RCA Cable Question)
I bought a basslink sub and i'm planning to connect it to my Alpine headunit with some RCA cables...some are VERY expensive ($90 for one) and some are exremely cheap ($5). I am aware of the benefits of the cables in home audio systems but when it comes to subs and low frequency notes, does the quality of the cable really matter? Also if anyone has done this before and has any suggestions or advice please....I need every ounce of it as I know NOTHING about audio systems.
Thanks everyone in advance....

Your basically paying for the shielding properties of the cable, as well as the frequency capabilities just like in home applications. Some instances your paying a lot for the manufacturer's name
Since the $5 is so cheap try it out just run it very carefully so not to pick up any noise. If it works great if not your only out a few bucks.
