Snagged this set for cheap. This is the before pic. Gonna strip back to chrome and re-polish em up.
One down...three to go.

Gott clean the insides as well. The tires are worn horribly. Cupping and uneven tread wear on all four. I can see why there are so many balance weights on each now.

Before
After grinder wire wheel
Still need to hand wash, dry, and polish.
Much better. I didn't measure untill today but they are 3.75 backspacing. If memory serves me correctly that is the correct backspacing.

The balance between the black body and the chrome details is perfect. You have a nice truck!

Thanks! I think so too. When I first got the truck, this was the exact wheel setup I put on it. I have always loved that look.

I had already made my mind up to get a new A/C evaporator before I pulled the original one out. Guess that was a good decision.

Nice new purdy evaporator. Was a pain getting it reinstalled but wasn't terrible. Also got the new compressor and condenser installed as well. Pics to follow.

That new evap look nice....did you use nylog on those connections? Nylog works great even though its expensive for the quantity it goes a long way. just a touch dab it spreads. Use on seals, gaskets and threads.

Not bad for a 26 year old engine bay.
new A/C compressor, new Condenser, and new receiver/dryer. Can't wait to get the system tested and charged!

Thanks! Lol...I wish it was and it certainly does look OEM but no. This radiator replaced the OEM one back in about 2000.
