My fuel door has a key lock and still works. the problem is the strike that attaches to the body is missing and cant engage. does anyone have a pic of the part IN next to the cap?

Not 100% sure if all of it is Toyota part number 7703535120 but that should get you started.

 

Thanks for the pic! Mine actually did not come with that. I thought the orginal owner removed it so I bought the cable. Problem is it won't work unless I make the hole it goes thru a lot bigger and leads me to think it didn't have it from the factory. Unless they all did, then I am at a loss. If I did drill the hole bigger to mount the cable the lock latch on the door wouldn't even come close to latching it closed.

 

My 84 didn't come with an in cab cable for the gas door. It's just a tab right where that cable would come out. I'll take a pic at lunch.
