Been enjoying your pics on IG and all your details you post and share; my 87 red runner is nearly a stock twin of Ruby and been enjoying all the info. Great stuff and Im only up the coast a bit; Paso Robles, CA. Hope to meet you in person someday at a meet or something; rock on!

This thread is HUGE!! Must say, I'm only about 35 pages in, can't believe how long it is!! But wanted to say thanks Chef, because all your detailed pictures and near stream of consciousness writing during your engine build and startup have been hugely helpful, lots of great documentation. Wanted to let you know I appreciated it! Sorry to hear about the roll but nice to see the project lives on!

I'll keep plugging away on the thread but I did sneak some peaks, the finished product looks great!!

 

Not going to lie. Seeing this pic made my insides hurt. But it is nice to see you sprung right back!


I'm redoing my truck here soon with a clean body myself. Check out the build thread from time to time! I want a clean Overlanding truck so no more leaving paint on rocks for me. Kinda feeling bad I beat up on it as bad as I did and now have to body swap to make it right again.

I sold my red truck to a good friend, moved to a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and now back to a toyota product, GX470

 

Thank you so much, Rob! I really appreciate that man... I feel terrible that I haven't been able to do both, but my life is just not allowed it... I had to make a choice, and Instagram is just so much easier in tandem with a crises real life. LOL. Still very grateful and not complaining, just have to do what I have to do. Hopefully, eventually, I can get somebody to do this along with me, documenting the rest of this journey for yotatech. I am so grateful for this site, it is 100%: a part of my initial transition into Toyotas...
