Brake issue?

So I have a weird issue my bed rattles when I stop at times can happen suddenly or something I'm guessing my u bolts or something is loose. The whole bed shakes. I went mudding and the mud is all around the drum brake line. And over the pickup. Any ideas?

Any chance mud got into the brake drums...? Causing brake shoes to chatter?

You could, but it may not get everything out. Best option is to remove tire, then the drum, get some brake cleaner and blast it all clean. I would do an adjustment while I was in there.

Or you may get it good enough with the pressure washer/water hose. Now I'm not saying this is your problem with the chatter, but it can't hurt to clean it out and try.

On a side note, this is one of the reasons that I hate mudding.... Lol
