Sorta like in Cali, where its against the rules to smoke indoors and yet a person follows that rule. So do you stroll into a police station and light up a smoke? Or do you just go somewhere that its legal.

Its not about whether or not you think something should be a rule, its about following the rules you agreed to when you signed up on this private forum. That is something guys like Flecker and 4Whiner couldn't figure out. One day later, two months later, it doesn't matter. We are less than 10 mods keeping an eye on 62,000+ members. We will miss one every now and again.

Want to know the secret way to avoid getting in trouble? STOP BREAKING THE RULES

Kthxbai
i dont smoke, so... no, i dont stroll into a police station and light up a cigarette.

And I could care less if 8 year olds are using the language, maybe the parents ought be better parents then.

The filter is also in place for the work environment.
Many employers (Boeing for example) monitor every single thing their employees surf or their filters pick up on it.

Lots of employers these days allow their work force to surf during breaks or lunches.
