Hello, Im new to the Toyota world so please bear with me. For years my uncle has twisted my arm into getting a Toyota, he swears by them and I've finally broke down and bought one of his from him. It's a 95 4runner with the v6,auto,4wd,and 153k miles. I just bought it today and it's been sitting for 8 months but he said it was started for about an hour but he didn't move it.I went today to tinker on it in hopes of getting it runnin tried to jump the battery(which is only 8 months old) and nothing happened. I pulled the battery out of my truck and put it in there and nothing. I took the cables off and took the connectors apart and cleaned them and took the ground off the side of the engine and cleaned it up and put it back and still nothing. Usually when you turn a key on the clock comes on gauges move but it was doing nothing. The only thing I could make work was passenger side headlight. Can anyone tell me what's goin on please,thank you for any help!

Hey everyone. My name is Thomas and I'm two weeks to the day into ownership of my first 4Runner. I'm coming into Yotas after a lifetime of SBC and SBF ownership. Still have a couple around, but moving forward I'm going to stick to SBC builds simply bc I enjoy it. I have no intention of dropping a 350 into my Runner or anything like that, but am hoping some of my limited knowledge can help others and I'm definitely looking for ideas and tech help with my Toyota. I'm in Northern KY, but the family and I spend plenty of time further south and west. Looking forward to sharing info and experiences. YotaTech was good to me as I searched used vehicles and for tech help as I was decision making. That's it for me now. My vehicle btw is 96' 4Runner, auto, 4WD, 203K, stock 16" wheels w/ 265/70r16's, Thrush Weld muffler and brush guard in Desert Dune Metallic.

Hey guys I just got back into the wonderful world of yotas! I used to have an 86 SAS'ed with dual cases and a locked rear but I had to sell it. Now i have a 96 limited 4runner all stock but slowly but surely it'll get more serious. Being in college the going might be slow but I'll get it one piece at a time! I live in Jackson Tn
