hey guys need help . i just got a 1988 toyota 4cyl 4x4 ran great on test drive like it should got home turned it off now it mises at low rpm like its wet . barley touch gas u can drive gets better more u drive but not like it did on test drive . doese not matter if hot or cold?

At the moment i am prepin for an engine tune up in my 1991 4runner (3vze). So far i have collected a timing cover gasket set a new water pump with seals and gasket, a timing belt, idler pulleys, distributor cap and rotor, and is there any thing i am missing?? Any other use full advice maybe info on timing related stuff?

Also i have reached an impasse for my other Toyota. What oil type do I need for the differential in a 1992 Toyota, corolla, base model, with a 3 speed automatic transmission? On this model there are separate fills and drains for the transmission and differential. Intuition tells me to use a heavy gear oil so that it leaks out the seals less. However, I heave read in a Haynes manual that you should use ATF Dextron III. What is your opinion?

brand new, been on here a few times trying to figure out how to convert my v6 3.0L to my 5.7L shevy small block, a 350 out of a 72' chevelle pushing about 400hp, but i gave u. not enough tim e until i go to basic to get it all done, names austin, i love to offroad when i can sneak onto the farms with my friends. or around my place in sykesville maryland. if anyone here is out that way hit me up on fb, i love to see what other people have done to thier trucks ect.. i have a 94' toyota pickup dlx. 223k miles on it, v6, 3.0L 150hp 180ft torque stock, idk what im doing these days, have it short piped out the drivers side, ive torn through a rear axel, head gaskets, a tail gate. humped a honda civic. and the thing barely has any damage best truck ive ever owned hands down.

hey yota 1988 4x4, try greasing the throttle body, break it down, clean out the intake. and check the vaccume lines. mine idles really freakin high, when its cold these days, idles at 2300, drops off to 1100, then 750. these trucks have a habit of being noisy and unpredictable.. the 4 bangers are loud and the v6's have the loudest injectors ive ever heard, best thing to do is clean everything out. and put it back together. and run it out of its system.
