Upgrading iTunes
There is an update to iTunes.
Those of you who udate, do you uninstall the old one, or do you execute the new one over the top of it?
I know on some programs you do the latter, as they tell you to do it that way.

New over old has been working 100 percent on my Mac about 80 percent on my PC even though it should work all the time. I've had issues with changed preferences and even loss of music files. I haven't had any music file loss lately, probably due to having all those files on another drive prior to upgrade (didn't want to take a chance again). Of course the mac presents a different annoyance (tons of file redundancy). As with any upgrade be sure of what you could potentually lose.

Forgot to mention I upgraqded it Friday.
Installed it over the old one, and I watched the new setup uninstall the old files and update them.
Fired up iTunes, attached iPod, all is well.
All tunes are there and settings remained the same.
