Does anyone else play old school nintendo on their computers?

I just spent the last hour playing bubble bobble!!

I used to all the time, Ice Hockey=teh win.

I dont often anymore though.

 

Never heard of it...just googled it and it sounds pretty neat! BTW the g/f thought she bought something really cool for x-mas...i opened the present and it said PS2 combo....I ripped the box open...and said..."Ummm honey...do you have a PS2 for this?" It was the surround and extra controllers and steering wheel thingie...but no PS2

I play nintendo on my laptop all the time, more than any other games.

 

I have a Super Nintendo Emulator that kept me busy for a while, I have aton of games for it too. But I always come back to 4x4EVO2.....The best Game EVER!

 

I still play it on the console.....I usually stick to SNES tho.

 

I think one emulator's name is Mame or Mame32. I used to play a while back. It was pretty fun getting into those old games again. I missed using those old directional pad controllers with just the A/B buttons on 'em.

 

i play NES and SNES, but on the original systems.

my emulator is called ZSNES I love it.

 

I went out and actually bought Super Mario 3 from my nintendo DS....I love that thing....


I used to run emulators for everything on this laptop but I never bought a controller and using the keyboard was a pita.

once you get an emulator, how do you download specific games?

 

Games = Roms...

Just search for the specfic rom you are looking for....then download it and play it with the emulator....

 

i play it, but on the org consols. got to love dr mario 2 player

 

Ok, i downloaded zsnes and for the life of me, cant find a super mario world ROM. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I still enjoy the heck out of Space Invaders, Jungle King, even 10 Yard Fight. WaHooo!!!

 

Donkey Kong Country for SNES is the best! My favorite game of all time.
