Medusa 5.1 Headphones

Just figured I'd give a heads up in here. They are virtually unknown in the US. In the UK all the stores sold out last month and there was a bit of a panic. We won't be seeing these for a bit in US stores. The manufacturer has plans to bring them stateside, but is holding off, my guess is they will be available around Christmas time, with an even higher price tag. I brokered a deal with some friends and a UK company to order 3 sets so that the shipping would be discounted. Turned out to cost $100 per headset(when buying 3 at a time, and this is after shipping and customs duty are paid), with an additional $20 needed for a US power supply courtesy of Radioshack. The 3 guys that got them love them soo much(and so do I!), that I have gotten a second order together now. I'm finally getting a pair, and a couple other guys are too.

Anyway I just wanted to give a shoutout for all you LAN gamers. True 5.1 in a headset and a microphone. There are 4 speakers in each earpiece. Each side has a center, front, rear, and subwoofer. Yes you can actually distinguish the imaging of front to rear. And the bass is better than I've ever heard on any set of headphones. It is actually powerfull enough to vibrate your head(no it doesn't use any of those bass simulating vibrators).

Here's a link for a good review Medusa 5.1 Review

And here's the link of the company I bought them from After Hours Computers

I'll be placing my second order on Monay, so I should receive my headphones by Wednesday(they ship really fast).

If you want a pair just let me know. I was going to be getting a pair soon but my truck is taking all my money.... I've got one guy in TX that want's a pair and is just waiting for 2 more people(I order in set's of 3). I've got another guy that want's a pair... but he has to wait another month due to an back injury he sustained last month(short on cash). So I'm guessing mid next month they will be ready if you want to jump in and be the 3rd.
