Itune/ Ipod Gurus
I can't seem to burn/convert songs on itunes to a MP3 CD. All the songs have a check marked that allows them to burn ( no check mark no burn), but when it comes time to burn only 19 of the 50 songs I've chosen are being burned. I've gone to my preferences and changed the burning mode from CD audio to MP3. I've also burned data cd's but they won't play in my Alpine Mp3 player because of the Itunes music format. Another thing is the music that is being nurned is the downloaded MP3's and the music not being burned is purchased from Itunes.
What the hell am I dong wrong?

ususualy when you get music from iTunes its in Macs AAC format which the alpine won't play/ I have an Alpine 9811 deck. Just a thought
Also check the properties of the music file. It might also be protected meaning you can't burn it out right. I got a couple songs from iTunes and quit buying because of this. Its a pain to burn the music to a cd then re rip it back to mp3

this is true but not to an mp3 disk
his deck only reads cd1 , mp3, and wma. when he makes the mp3 disk anything not mp3 doesn't go to the disk.
DO this.
Anything you have in aac format burn to a disk as a regular cd. AAC is acualy a good format but MAC uses this format to keep it MAC and also to hinder music ditrobution though their iPods, basically legal BS. anyway, use windows media player or musicmatch or something to rip them to mp3. All the security crap is striped away and you get the least amount of file distortion.
I think iTunes also alows you to rip cd's to mp3
