Just the one. I used to have 3, but I like having an actual life better than having a virtual one

Well I work from home and do onsite computer repair so I have to have tinker with more than 1. I had to kill a few ip's that were on my wireless router freeloaders taking advantage of my bandwith. I have it encripted now and have to add thier mac address to my list now if people want to use my bandwidth....

Computer Geek Alert!!

That I actually use? - 6 (2 servers (one win2k other linux), 1 FBSD, 1 win98, 1 win2k, 1XP)...I hate using virtual OS software, so I gotta have one of each for testing software.

Add the comps my 2 roommates have and we are up to 10.

Add the comps I never use anymore a laptop (i just dont like em...need more power and bigger screens and not so darn $$), car computer, and enough parts to make 4 more outdated pc's.

NO MACs!

Just the one. I used to have 3, but I like having an actual life better than having a virtual one
I hear ya...thats why I cut down to 6 Evidently when I get married July 24...I have to cut down to ONE!! That should be an interesting debate...she didnt like the idea of having a server room

I have 3 currently down from 4. I plan to get a laptop soon and will be back up to 4.

1 is the wife's which I'm also currenly using. One for my kids to share. One that is under the weather that I plan to rebuild (maybe not...) and then a new laptop.

I'm also looking at the iPaq 4355 which has a keyboard built in - does that count?

I have 3.
My current P4 2.4 for gaming
http://pnw4runners.com/tando/pc.htm

My old PIII 500 in the boy's (spare room)
http://www.pnw4runners.com/tando/pc2.htm

And a Fijitsu PII 233 laptop in the living room for surfing from my recliner.

The P4 gets the most use, and all are networked via cat cable.
No wireless for me yet.

Talking Computers

You guys are WAY out there a bit far with this computer thing...you are scaring me. A server room?

I have (1) computer which is a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop hooked up to a port replicator with all the goodies. I use it for everything.

The only reason I'll ever have more than (1) in the house is when my boys get old enough to start messing with mine they will get their own to crash and leave mine alone.

Forgot to mention I did have 4 hooked up to the 'Net at once here, but I gave away my 233 MMX to my oldest son a half year or so ago.

8 in the house of 5 people :-D

4 are mine
750 duron desktop (what im using)
633 celeron desktop (what i used to use)
p1 90 (was going to make a filing cabinet a custom case and use it as a play bsd server)
and a p2 333 laptop WIFI baby!

my mom has a dell p4 laptop
my stepdad has a dell p4 desktop
one sister has a celeron 750 that i had the privilage of fixing a few hours ago (micro atx in a micro case, and the micro powersupply blew so i got to scrape my hands getting it out of that and putting it into a regular sized tower with a regular powersupply.)

and my other sister has something i don't even know what to call it...it has a built in monitor and keyboard like a laptop, but its a full size computer.

a few printers and 802.11g baby!

not to mention, i ordered a small form factor barebones system the other day and it arrives today so now I just gotta get a processor for it and sell the 633 celery and 750 duron and drop the computer total down

Almost identical to mine, but I'm overclocking my 2.4c chip to 2.88.
I have the Asus P4P800 mobo, and it's great over OC'ing a Intel chip.
My 9600 though has 128, not the 256 like yours.

This is the first attempt at building a computer. I might overclock it not sure yet. I'm going to add another 512mb ram chip to it. I've looked at your computer on your website and read almost all the reviews, its been a big help.

2 laptops, 3 pc's and up to 2 more laptops, depending if the wife or I or both are on call.

1 laptop is running mandrake 9, the other win98. An old dell optiplex running fedora core 1 (that i'm using now)

My wife has the newest pc, I have her hand-me-down HP that we had to swap out after I bought her an All-in-Wonder card for Christmas a few years back & the HP doesn't have an AGP slot.

I use the HP for gaming & coding for work, but for browsing & e-mail the old dell never crashes running linux & is just as fast as the HP with xp home. I also run a MySQL server, webserver, etc on it.

It's really too many PC's for just the two of us...
