good home network question

ok I have a good one for some of you... i have DSL and a wireless network, BUT i only have 2 wireless cards. i have 2 laptops with wifi built in, and 3 desktops, 2 with cards and one sitting at the router plugged in with cat5. My question is this... I would like to add another computer on a different floor as my router, but i have no more wifi cards. i do however have 2 wireless routers i am not using, i have 2 extra DSL modems. And some wired switches. I don't have enough cat5 to wire between the new desktop and the router, so using the things i have is their a way i can connect this new computer to the internet, the internet is all i really need. Keep in mind that i have a server running, so i can't do some things like port forwarding and such. What do you think is it possible?

We have tried and failed, I hope some one comes up with a way for you to do this though, I'd like to hear it.

I think you can dumb down a router to serve as a wireless access point, then use a short bit of cable to connect it to the computer.

Try this: http://www.ezlan.net/router_AP.html
