Did I burn up my processor?

Asus and Deere are worthy power supplies.
Kingston or Corsair are also worthy.

In the case of this problem ... it's either the power supply or a capacitor on the mother board that appears to interrmittenly failed.

with 184 pin?!?... you must of pushed REAL hard on that module... I've found it nearly impossible to put in those modules backwards with the 3 separated pin sections. however.. older 168 pin modules are a different story... did that only once and I had to push really hard for it to click in. luckily no damage ensued.

I was actually quite surprised I did that myself. I didn't actually push all that hard. Getting it out, however, was a whole different story.
