just because the university/college has provided you with internet access, you dont have the freedom like regular people who pay for their access.
i work of a univ IT.
we turn off ports like a mother**** when we find non-educational stuff like that... lol...
but my personal machine isnt...
seriously?
other people in the dorm is just taking up bandwidth download porn or other stuff, or maybe they just limit or throttle the bandwidth down to the dorms...
