Retro gaming isn't retro unless you play on the original system. Like my NES that I still use on a regular basis. I have it set up at work and in our down time we have duck hunt tournaments. Complete with the official "Duck Hunt Firing Line"

On NES I loved Super Mario 3, but I played all of them a lot at friends houses.
On the computer I liked the old Sierra games, Space Quest, Hero's Quest, Kings Quest, etc.

I'm 28 and my first system was PONG that my dad picked up at a garage sale, so I know the whole history.

One can easily argue that NES is better than PS3. it's all subjective. Yes, the graphics are more advanced on the PS3, but if someone gets more satisfaction from the older system, then to that user it is the "better" system.

I grew up on NES and SNES. My latest system is a PS2. I want a PS3 or Wii.
I still maintain that SNES Super Mario Kart is the most fun game I own.
(and that no one will ever beat my Mario Circuit 1 time )

I still rock the NES and actually don't have any other systems. I had an xbox before some thieves broke into my house and took that amongst so many other things....one of the few things I even replaced was my NES. Its the games like excite bike and rc pro am that I'll probably never grow out of.

Other MarioKarts just don't hold up to the SNES version. I have DoubleDash for Gamecube and played MarioKart64 a lot when the N64 was in... but I have to say... I do long for the ice battle level... But, I bet I could beat your time... hahahha

I can't be the only one who started out with Pong...

I think that's what it was called, greenish screen, two bars that batted a square dot back and forth, slowly. Very slowly.

I also have a Atari 2600a and an old Nintendo.
