AIM the problem?

It seems like everytime I log onto AIM after a few minutes I will get a prompt saying an error in Kernal something has occured then it shuts down AIM and my internet. It also happens when I am trying to clear the history and cookies.

Or better yet, uninstall AIM and use Trillian. Virii nowadays will take advantage of AIM's exploits, and there are a few of them. Trillian is pretty virus safe from what I've experienced.

Thanks for the advice guys. I ran anti virus scan twice and nothing came up. I took it to a guy I work with and he "cleaned the hard drive." I don't know what that means but he said it was cluttered up with stuff and now it works much faster and better. As far as the exact message I will see if I can get it to happen again, if so then AIM is going and trillian will be up. Thanks again!
