So I bit the bullet and purchased an RCI 2970n2. Now I'm faced with the task of mounting this bad boy.

I've got a Motorola Maxtrac that fits wonderfully right in the radio bay. I doubt I'll be able to fit the 2970 in there. Not that I'd want to anyway. I'd like the radio to be easily removable. This is an expensive radio and will not be left in the truck.

So where do I mount it? My truck is a manual, so a hump mount obviously won't work. So I'm thinking some kind of floor mount. Something that bolts to the floor pan, but out of the way of passengers. I've got no carpet or vinyl floor pad so drilling into the floor pan is easy.
