just got my Dad a 660 this past month... got to use it a lot, let me know what you need to know.

You can choose like 3 different driving types. one is "offroad". What does that do different from the on road directions? thanks

Straight line navigation ie "Dead Reckoning" Just make sure you turn off the "Snap to Road" option.

so that would take me over mountains,lakes, and places trucks cant go?
