Escort Solo S2 Radar Detector

Not sure if this is the right forum for this or not, but let me know and I'll delete it.

Let me know what you guys think about this one...it's a lotta money but I have heard that the cops around here can pick up the cheaper ones.

Thanks guys!

Beware battery powered detectors.. as the charge fades, so does the effective range.. spend your money on the 8500 X50 and get the hard wire kit for $8 if dangling wires and cosmetics are important to you.. thats exactly what I have in my 4runner (the blue flavor, btw)

yeah i had to spring for the blue kind just to be different.. ive only seen one or two other ones that are blue.. maybe that just means there are only a few of us illogical enough to pay more for a different color HA

I had an 8500 and it was a good detector. I love my V1, though. Can't live without the arrows.
